lyrics
I’m done bending over backwards to feel safety.
Now I wake up with a charged heart, daily.
With light of this paradise that lined up so nicely,
liking this life that had been trying to find me.
There’s mights, at least I’ve got the health benefits,
and height to lift me out of the hell that I fell in,
I’m keeping godly with methodologies,
all of these upping my autonomy, it’s evident.
Everybody these days has sights for paid talents,
I’m excited to have a comma on my bank balance.
Earth throwing us dirt to stomp it down.
I’m stomping till there’s a quarter million in three accounts.
Or any amount, no holds barred at that,
to let me surmount the task to put those stars back.
make my dream life a hard fact, hands are stacked,
booked and bookin' as a large act.
Nothing I can’t wring out of the fray, these days
as long I have wings and breeze and a sunny
lit path in my way, however bumpy,
leading undertakings to the land of milk and honey,
but I’ll need money,
I’ll need fame,
I’ll need a way to get out my name,
and oh god, no, I won’t stop
til you meet me halfway,
at least, so please,
call it selfish or some say greed
but all your makeshift philosophies
give beasts like me means to plead,
that my higher self has greater needs.
That I can feed.
I can be.
The luckiest symmetry,
My needs
I can feed,
I can be.
One with whatever till it’s at my feet.
I keep this runnin' cause it’s serving me as therapy,
but I ain't gonna kid myself that this alone’s repairing me.
Off the wall beliefs, making logical leaps,
the here and now lost in numerical breeze.
Used to get up and breathe, with ease,
feel my body relieved, no biological needs
bothering me and I had focus.
It might only be how I eat,
but recently it seems I've Awoken.
I had broken through the walls I put up before,
at this chosen moment potent good luck approaches more,
in a rolling motion woven in golden proportions
all the hoping jokes, emotions are producing a force.
Immovable objects get rocking till I roll em
sooner than thought the monster’s the controlled one,
haven’t fought since communin on the blue moon,
out of this cocoon and in tune to show it.
Nothing I can’t wring out of the fray, these days
as long I have wings and breeze and a sunny
lit path in my way, however bumpy,
leading undertakings to the land of milk and honey,
but I’ll need money,
I’ll need fame,
I’ll need a way to get out my name,
and oh god, no I won’t stop
til you meet me halfway,
at least, so please,
call it selfish or some say greed
but all your makeshift philosophies
give beasts like me means to plead,
that my higher self has greater needs.
(I've got no needs)
That I can feed.
(That I won't feed)
I can be.
(Let alone exceed)
The luckiest symmetry
My needs
(I've got no needs)
I can feed,
(That I won't feed)
I can be.
(My soul agrees)
One with whatever till it’s at my feet.
My higher self has greater needs.

Figurehead was to me, back in 2011 or possibly even earlier, one of those soundtracks of my life that will always remain in my memory at time that I found myself taking on new chapters in my life, facing the new unknown so to speak, discovering many aspects of myself as a young adult.
The electronic soundscapes and themes are magical and despite the energetic DnB type beats, provides a nice atmospheric feel to it, it feels dreamy and emotional. Johan "Wolfie" Meyer
