Solar-Plexus Chakra. One's flame may be put out by simple emotional happenstance. Re-ignite it, and cling to the fact that you can.
lyrics
Some had enough of keeping up with the machine.
Nobody does this shit like Jack King Queen.
Love it or hate it, y'all can debate it.
Some know how to make it up,
but i know how to make it.
I can't be fucking with a stagnant demeanor.
Nobody does this shit like Jack King Queen does.
Love it or hate it, y'all can debate it,
some know how to make it up
but i just want to make it.
I got a universe inside my head, i want it out.
fought habits and mindsets, & petty doubts.
gave up distractions, ain’t a gamer, i’m past it
cause every little thing i do’s a micro-trans-action.
I mingle but the crew’s got a tabs list,
i predict every new news stories with mad-libs.
yeah i’m bat shit,
a bad fit,
i’m deity ex machina,
make up fake languages,
slating me album up.
Don’t give a fuck about your personality,
anatomy, locality, tonality, formalities,
you’re bad for me.
I aim to maintain neutrality.
If you got great thoughts, we can talk,
but let em rot, watch me walk.
People call me a jack of all trades,
king of sound charades, and queen of loud gain,
no shortage of the niche and the fringe, all that in spades,
ignore the cringe, and remember this name like,
Some had enough of keeping up with the machine.
Nobody does this shit like Jack King Queen.
Love it or hate it, y'all can debate it.
Some know how to make it up,
but i know how to make it.
I can't be fucking with a stagnant demeanor.
Nobody does this shit like Jack King Queen does.
Love it or hate it, y'all can debate it,
some know how to make it up
but i just want to make it.
i'm the kinds person who
looks bad on the surface and
works at it and worsens
and turns sad, and you heard it
at first i tried to curse it
with words, hard to rehearse,
if i nurse my mind with verses
i can then pretend i'm perfect,
so,
I don’t pop pills,
i don’t even smoke
i don’t even drink,
i don’t even know,
i don’t even think,
I’m in sober go mode
when i’m nearing broke
or i’m feeling stoked,
which lately would be most days.
in some ways i know i got addictions
i’m fighting with it. it’s private business.
this kinda clueless intersection,
validation, and obsession,
understanding rules and then being somebody’s exception.
Hey Case, are you as empty as your name?
You show up to a scene and you see it like a game,
Underneath your faux-mesmeric ass ghost aesthetic,
You're generic, pathetic, and
so prone to snap like
Some had enough of keeping up with the machine.
Nobody does this shit like Jack King Queen.
Love it or hate it, y'all can debate it.
Some know how to make it up,
but i know how to make it.
I can't be fucking with a stagnant demeanor.
Nobody does this shit like Jack King Queen does.
Love it or hate it, y'all can debate it,
some know how to make it up
but i just want to make it.
first of all i’m not too personable
socializing feels surgical,
i swear its nothing personal.
beware the dog sign,
im offline, no disturbing,
and no knocks when i’m on the clock,
i’m fucking working.
I got dark circles like my eyes are doing rituals.
it’s turning out that burning out is proving too habitual,
it’s half past ten, a chance to get to bed,
but who am i kidding man, i’m staying up til six again.
And just because my circadian rhythm is so out of
sync
with the timezone i live in don’t
think
that i aint up at 3 AM
spitting.
all you’re puttin out’s nocturnal emissions.
I make nuclear fission with rhymes and self loathing,
but hey listen, that keeps me buying food and clothing.
I wouldn’t dare to write burn-books.
I just stare at a mirror and suffer the hard looks
and say
Some had enough of keeping up with the machine.
Nobody does this shit like Jack King Queen.
Love it or hate it, y'all can debate it.
Some know how to make it up,
but i know how to make it.
I can't be fucking with a stagnant demeanor.
Nobody does this shit like Jack King Queen does.
Love it or hate it, y'all can debate it,
some know how to make it up
but i just want to make it.

Figurehead was to me, back in 2011 or possibly even earlier, one of those soundtracks of my life that will always remain in my memory at time that I found myself taking on new chapters in my life, facing the new unknown so to speak, discovering many aspects of myself as a young adult.
The electronic soundscapes and themes are magical and despite the energetic DnB type beats, provides a nice atmospheric feel to it, it feels dreamy and emotional. Johan "Wolfie" Meyer
